Hello friends of The Corner Bar.
All of us at The Corner Bar hope your doing well and staying safe in these crazy times! The Corner has always helped out in times of need, helping raise money through our 'Bicycle Poker Runs', 'Flooding Fremont With Love' after last years floods and numerous other benefits and events. Several of those have included our music friends that we all have come to love! Never a cause too big or too small. And, as we have come to realize over the years...everyone needs help from time to time!
With that being said, now WE find ourselves needing your help!
If we are able to reopen June 1st, that puts us at a little over two months being closed. And, with that comes major revenue loss for the owner and the employees.
On May 15th, 2020, with the help of 9 of our most loyal and favorite artists/friends, we will be doing a virtual concert streaming from us to you in your homes starting at 7pm. Each act will be doing at 20min set live streamed from their space to your space.
So make plans to grab yourself a drink or two, heat up a bag of popcorn, and settle in for some killer music that we’ve all come to love so very much over the years at The Corner Bar. And, please consider helping us out with whatever you can. As much as it pains us to even ask, it will be very much appreciated and go so far to help keep us open when times return to somewhat normal. We sincerely hope to see you all very soon and expect an incredibly huge hug from all of us at The Corner Bar... when it’s allowed. ♥
